The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 9/26/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 9/29/2025, MPD received 1,204 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (265),East (228), Midtown (193), North (197), South (151), West (143), and Other (27). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

East/Death Investigation – 5:25am: Officers responded to a pulseless non-breathing subject (82-year-old male). Lifesaving measures attempted but not successful. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
West/Stolen Auto – 8:29am: A vehicle was reported as stolen. Attempt to locate aired. The vehicle was listed as stolen in the appropriate databases.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 8:29am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 21-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic criminal damage to property.
Central/Retail Theft – 10:49am: Officers responded to a retail theft in progress involving a 30-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for retail theft and probable cause.
Midtown/Disturbance – 2:59pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 17-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic criminal damage to property, domestic unlawful use of computerized communication systems, and citations for battery and disorderly conduct.
Midtown/Traffic Arrest – 3:27pm: A traffic stop was conducted. A 40-year-old male subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant. A 63-year-old male subject was given an order-in for felony in possession of a firearm.
Central/Check Person – 5pm: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a 69-year-old male subject passed out on a bench. Subject was contacted. The subject refused to identify himself and made threats to harm the officers. The subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant and threats to law enforcement.
Midtown/Mental Health Conveyance – 7:53pm: Officers responded to a local facility for a subject in need of an emergency detention. The subject was subsequently transported to Winnebago.
East/Juvenile Arrest – 8:10pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 15-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for battery and transported to the Juvenile Reception Center.
Central/Disturbance – 10:16pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 47-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting, felony bail jumping (3 counts), and misdemeanor bail jumping. The subject refused to identify themselves. Once properly identified, the subject was found to have numerous outstanding warrants.
South/Check Area – 10:50pm: Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated subject armed with a knife. Subject located and found to have self-inflicted injuries. The subject was transported to a local hospital where they were admitted/left in the care of medical staff.

Priority calls only from 2:04pm to 11:08pm due to calls for service.
North/Crash – 1:26am: A driver/vehicle struck a vehicle which then hit a residence. The driver (28-year-old male) fled the scene in the vehicle. Vehicle located unoccupied. Passenger conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Probable cause developed to arrest the subject/driver, who remains at-large. *Subject later called to try to report the vehicle as stolen. Contact made with the subject who was arrested for 2nd degree reckless endangering safety, failure to render aid, failure to notify of property damage, and reckless driving.
Central/Domestic Disturbance – 6:40am: Officers responded to a disturbance. A 20-year-old female subject was arrested for domestic battery.
Central/Suspicious Person – 10:56am: A victim reported an unknown male subject exposed himself to them as they were on a walk. Description of the subject was provided. Contact made with a 60-year-old male subject who matched the description provided by the victim. The subject was arrested for lewd/lascivious behavior.
East/Check Person – 1:29pm: Officers responded to a report of a suicidal subject. Subject contacted, placed into protective custody and transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. The subject was voluntarily admitted and officers disengaged.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 2:59pm: Officers responded to a disturbance. A 61-year-old female subject was issued a citation for resisting. A 67-year-old male subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and resisting.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 4:42pm: Officers responded to a report of a 30-year-old female subject running around naked and screaming. Subject contacted. The subject admitted to using drugs that day. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 7:18pm: Officers responded to a business for a report of a 51-year-old male subject acting like he had something in his hand (like a knife). Subject contacted. The subject was initially uncooperative with officers. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery to law enforcement and threats to law enforcement.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 10:43pm: A 28-year-old male subject exposed himself in a business. He was arrested for lewd/lascivious behavior and disorderly conduct.
West/Domestic Disturbance – 11:20pm: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a 42-year-old male subject (not on scene). Investigation continuing.
Central/Missing Adult – 11:44pm: A 36-year-old female subject was reported as missing. Attempt to locate aired. Phone ping attempted. The subject was listed as missing in the appropriate databases. *Subject contacted and transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. Subject left in the care of medical staff and officers disengaged.
Midtown/Intoxicated Driver – 11:45pm: Officers responded to a crash that involved an intoxicated driver (39-year-old male). The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (5th offense).
North/Drug Investigation – 11:47pm: A traffic stop was attempted and the driver/vehicle fled. The vehicle was later located unoccupied. Drugs located in the vehicle. K9 track completed which led to a residence. Officers conducted a knock-and-announce. 3 subjects exited the residence and were found to be associated to the incident/vehicle. The subjects were arrested for fleeing/eluding (party to a crime) and possession with intent to deliver marijuana (party to a crime). 21-year-old male, 21-year-old male, and 18-year-old male were the 3 subjects. Felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping charges were also added as applicable.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 10:15am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving an 18-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
Midtown/Death Investigation – 10:20am: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject (53-year-old female). Entry made to the residence and the subject was located deceased. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified at this time.
South/Disturbance – 10:35am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 40-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping.
East/Disturbance – 12:42pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery (with elder abuse enhancer).
East/Sexual Assault – 3:20pm: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance/sexual assault involving a 45-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
Central/Sexual Assault – 4:27pm: A victim reported being sexually assaulted. Investigation continuing.
Midtown/Mental Health Conveyance – 9:45pm: A subject at a local hospital who was voluntarily receiving mental health services caused a disturbance. An emergency detention was sought/approved. The subject was transported to Winnebago.
