City-Wide Notable Calls 9/29/2025 to 10/1/2025

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last forty-eight (48) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 9/29/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 10/1/2025, MPD received 890 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (144),East (190), Midtown (155), North (140), South (97), West (138), and Other (26). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

North/Mental Health Conveyance – 11:52am: Officers responded to a report of a subject cutting themselves. The subject was contacted and transported to a local hospital for an emergency detention evaluation. Final outcome pending. *Emergency detention approved. The subject was transported to Winnebago.

West/Adult Arrested Person – 3:05pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 31-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery to health care worker, resisting and battery to law enforcement.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 4:36pm: Officers responded to a trespassing complaint involving a 24-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for resisting and discharge bodily fluids at a public safety worker.

Priority calls only from 7:02pm to 7:59pm due to calls for service.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 7:33am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 36-year-old male subject (not on scene). Investigation continuing.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 10:16am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 44-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery, disorderly conduct, and bail jumping.

North/Child Neglect – 10:24am: Detectives conducting follow-up on an investigation located a young child home alone living in hoarding conditions with drug paraphernalia present. Investigation continuing. * A 26-year-old female subject was arrested for child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.  CPS took custody of the child.

South/Domestic Disturbance – 2:03pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 30-year-old female subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

Central/Mental Health Conveyance – 3:50pm: A subject at a local hospital was in need of a Chapter 51 return. The subject was transported to Winnebago once a medical clearance was obtained.

East/Disturbance – 5:14pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 55-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed, felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping, and an outstanding warrant.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 7:32pm: Officers responded to a disturbance. A 23-year-old male subject was arrested for domestic criminal damage to property. A 24-year-old female subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

North/Child Neglect – 3:34am: Officers responded to a local hospital for a report of a child with drugs in their system. Investigation continuing.
