The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

WEST: Violation of Court Order – 8:00 am. The victim reported that the 37-year-old male suspect was texting her in violation of his bail conditions. The suspect was arrested and conveyed to jail for felony bail jumping.

NORTH: Missing Juvenile – 8:13 am. The mother of a 14-year-old girl reported her daughter missing. An ATL was aired and the girl was listed as missing in the appropriate data bases.

MIDTOWN: Stolen Auto – 11:01 am. A caller to dispatch reported a hit and run crash at Hill St and University Ave. Officers determined that the suspect vehicle was stolen. Investigation continuing.

WEST: Death Investigation – 11:03 am. Officers responded to a residence where a 64-year-old woman was found deceased. Nothing suspicious on scene.

CENTRAL: Sex Offense Misc – 12:21 pm. Officers investigated a report of a juvenile female sending someone nude photos for money. The incident was first reported to DCHS who requested police assistance. Investigation continuing.

SOUTH: Disturbance – 1:46 pm. Officers investigated several reports of the 41-year-old male suspect riding up to female subjects on a moped and threatening them. Officers located the suspect at Brittingham Park where he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, OWI 3rd, possession of drug paraphernalia and open intoxicants.

MIDTOWN: Sexual Assault of a Child – 4:31 pm. Officers investigated a report of a juvenile male making inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile female. Investigation continuing.

SOUTH: Disturbance – 9:35 pm. Officers responded to Subway where several people were arguing. A 25-year-old male suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed. A 21-year-old female suspect was cited for disorderly conduct.

NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 11:30 pm. Officers responded to a residence where the 31-year-old male suspect beat and strangled the victim. Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for domestic battery, strangulation and disorderly conduct. Suspect is at large.


CENTRAL: Sexual Assault – 2:31 am. A victim reported that a known suspect sexually assaulted her. Investigation continuing.

CENTRAL: Death Investigation – 4:23 am. Officers responded to the lake shore near Iota Ct where a body was found in the water. Investigation continuing.
