The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 10/3/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 10/6/2025, MPD received 1,148 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (238),East (255), Midtown (175), North (170), South (136), West (154), and Other (20). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

North/Disturbance – 5:44am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 32-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject once he is located.
East/Disturbance – 5:56am: Officers responded to a business who reported that a subject was threatening and banging on a window. A 45-year-old male subject involved in the incident was observed and fled on foot. Contact made at the subject's residence and a consent search was refused. Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
East/Check Person – 7:49am: A subject with dementia was reported as walking away from their residence. Areas checked. Subject not initially located but was ultimately located safe.
East/Armed Robbery – 11:08am: A 44-year-old male subject entered a business and said something to the effect of "I have a weapon" in an apparently robbery attempt. The subject left the business and took money from another business. The subject was located and arrested. The subject was charged with armed robbery (2 counts) and a probation hold.
North/Check Area – 2:04pm: An officer was dispatched to a silent 911 call. An officer heard a faint voice coming from a residence. The officer then heard a subject yelling for help. Officer made entry to the residence and located a subject in need of medical attention. The subject was transported to a local hospital.
Midtown/Disturbance – 2:42pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 13-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Juvenile Reception Center.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 3:04pm: Officers responded to a business for a disturbance involving a 42-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 4:10pm: Officers received a request to check the welfare of an 18-year-old male subject sleeping on the sidewalk naked. Contact made with the subject. A commitment order in place. Subject not cooperative with officers. Mental Health resources consulted. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, lewd/lascivious behavior, depositing human waste and obstructing.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 8:28pm: Officers responded to a disturbance. A subject was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital where an emergency detention was sought/approved. Criminal charges also forthcoming for the subject. Transport to Winnebago completed.
Midtown/Disturbance – 10:03pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 38-year-old male subject (not on scene). Subject was later located and arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, bail jumping, and a probation/parole warrant.
Central/Disturbance – 10:04pm: Officers responded to a report of a 24-year-old male subject with a gun threatening people around him (N. Frances St). The subject was taken into custody and charged with 2nd degree reckless endangering safety, carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct while armed, making terroristic threats, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and intentionally pointing a firearm.
East/Check Area – 10:43pm: Officers responded to Lexington Ave for a report of shots fired and property damage. A round was found to have entered a residence. Casings located. No injuries. Investigation continuing.
Central/Disturbance – 11:14pm: Officers responded to a large fight that broke out after a party let out on Langdon Street. Video showed a male subject pointing a gun towards the group fighting. The subject pistol whipped a victim and the gun went off. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Investigation continuing.

Central/Crash – 12:37am: Officers responded to a roll-over crash with reports of a vehicle fleeing from the area. Vehicle located unoccupied. Two subjects located/detained nearby the crash. A 36-year-old male subject was arrested for threats to law enforcement and obstructing. A second 36-year-old male subject was arrested for obstructing.
North/Death Investigation – 8:56am: Officers responded to a report of a 74-year-old female subject not waking up. Lifesaving measures attempted but they were not successful. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
West/Adult Arrested Person – 10:45am: A 37-year-old male subject was arrested for violating his bail conditions (misdemeanor bail jumping).
North/Death Investigation – 1:44pm: Officers responded to a residence for a report of a deceased subject (25-year-old female). Medical Examiner's office responded. Death self-inflicted. Nothing suspicious identified.
South/Crash – 3:16pm: Officers responded to a vehicle vs. bicyclist crash. The cyclist was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver (44-year-old female) was cited for unsafe lane deviation and no insurance.
North/Weapons Offense – 7:45pm: Officers responded to a report of a stabbing. A victim was conveyed to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 67-year-old male subject was arrested for domestic 2nd degree reckless endangering safety, domestic substantial battery and domestic disorderly conduct while armed.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 1am: Officers responded to a report of a 35-year-old male subject exposing himself in public. The subject was arrested for lewd/lascivious behavior, disorderly conduct and a probation/parole hold.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 2:33am: A wanted subject (40-year-old male) was observed. Contact made with the subject who became uncooperative with the officers. The subject was arrested for resisting (2 counts), carrying a concealed weapon and outstanding warrants.
East/Disturbance- 3:01am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 24-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for battery (2 counts) and disorderly conduct while armed.
Midtown/Intoxicated Driver – 3:43am: Officers responded to a crash involving an intoxicated driver (17-year-old male). Driver sustained minor injuries. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. He was also cited for failure to maintain control, violate absolute sobriety and unsafe lane deviation.
East/Death Investigation – 10:06am: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (87-year-old female). Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
West/Retail Theft – 12:05pm: Officers responded to a retail theft in progress involving two subjects (27-year-old male and 25-year-old female). The male subject fled on foot and remains at-large. The female subject was detained and arrested on an outstanding DOC warrant. Probable cause developed to arrest the male subject.
East/Armed Robbery – 12:20pm: A victim reported having their wallet taken from them by an unknown subject. Areas checked. Investigation continuing.
East/Disturbance – 1:01pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 16-year-old female subject. The subject was cited/released with a restorative justice referral for battery and disorderly conduct citations. A 54-year-old female subject was arrested for physical abuse to a child.
North/Adult Arrested Person – 2:18pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, attempted battery to law enforcement and bail jumping.
West/Check Area – 3:05pm: Officers responded to reports of shots fired. A vehicle was struck/damaged. Investigation continuing.
Midtown/Domestic Disturbance – 3:15pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 40-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
North/Armed Robbery – 5:15pm: A victim reported being robbed by a subject armed with a gun. The victim's wallet, phone, and clothing were taken. Subject fled in a vehicle. Areas checked. Investigation continuing.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 7:24pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 32-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.
South/Adult Arrested Person – 7:37pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic strangulation, disorderly conduct, and criminal damage to property.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 10:55pm: Officers received a request from DOC to locate/arrest a wanted subject (21-year-old female). Subject contacted. The subject attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. The subject actively resisted officers. The subject was arrested for a probation/parole warrant, resisting, possession of THC and misdemeanor bail jumping.
West/Check Person – 11:01pm: Officers made contact with a suicidal subject. The subject was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. The subject was voluntarily left in the care of medical staff and officers disengaged.
West/Check Area – 11:46pm: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle/occupants (19-year-old male and 18-year-old male). Contact made with the vehicle/subjects. Driver was asked to step out of the vehicle and when he did a handgun was observed on the driver's seat floorboard. A second handgun was located/recovered. Both subjects were arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. The 19-year-old also had outstanding charges for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

Central/Disturbance – 1:12am: Officers responded to a disturbance where a victim was stabbed. Contact made with both parties (victim and 55-year-old female suspect). The victim sustained a minor injury not requiring any medical attention. Investigation continuing.
Central/Sexual Assault of a Child – 2:12am: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault of a child. A 14-yaer-old male subject was arrested for 1st degree sexual assault of a child.
West/Armed Robbery – 3:44am: Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery where cash was stolen. Investigation continuing.
