City-Wide Notable Calls 10/7/2025 to 10/8/2025

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 10/7/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 10/8/2025, MPD received 384 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (61),East (94), Midtown (64), North (58), South (49), West (49), and Other (9). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Priority calls only from 3:30pm to 8:06pm due to calls for service.

Priority calls only from 10:34pm to 12:48am due to calls for service.

North/Injured Subject – 8:28am: A subject arrived at a clinic with superficial stab wounds to their arms and legs which required stitches. The subject was not cooperative with officers. Investigation continuing.

Central/Disturbance – 8:34pm: Officers responded to a report of an aggressive male subject (25-year-old) towards a female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and threats to law enforcement.  

East/Weapons Offense – 10:28pm: Officers responded to the 10 block of Wind Stone Drive for a report of a stabbing. A victim was located with non-life threatening injuries. Incident Report on MPD's website completed. Investigation continuing.
