City-Wide Notable Calls 3/27/2024 to 3/28/2024

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 3/27/2024 through 6:00 a.m. on 3/28/2024, MPD received 393 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (78),East (73), Midtown (71), North (74), South (38), West (51), and Other (8). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.


SOUTH: Disturbance – 7:26 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 35-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.

WEST: Disturbance – 7:49 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 22-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.

EAST: Adult Arrested Person – 10:11 a.m. A 47-year-old male subject was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

EAST: Mental Health Conveyance – 12:05 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance. A subject is taken into protective custody, transported to a local hospital and subsequently arrangements are made for a conveyance to Winnebago. Criminal charges also forthcoming for the same subject for domestic battery.

WEST: Disturbance – 2:48 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 36-year-old female subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject once she is located.

CENTRAL: Mental Health Conveyance – 4:02 p.m. Officers responded to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject. The subject was contacted and taken into protective custody. The subject was transported to a local hospital. Final outcome pending. *Subject was placed locally and officers disengaged.

WEST: Disturbance – 11:28 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 20-year-old male subject. Journey Mental Health consulted. Emergency detention not approved. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.


SOUTH: Drug Incident – 2:09 a.m. A 48-year-old female subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation hold.
