City-Wide Notable Calls 4/30/2024 to 5/1/2024

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

Priority calls only from 4:07pm-5:35pm due to calls for service

Priority calls only from 7:53pm-2:03am due to calls for service.

East/Child Abuse – 8:39am: Officers receive a report of child abuse. Investigation continuing.

East/Adult Arrested Person – 8:44am: A 39-year-old male subject was arrested on a probation/parole warrant.

South/Death Investigation – 10:08am: Officers responded to a residence for a deceased subject (52-year-old female subject). Medical Examiner's office responded. Decedent had a history of health/medical concerns. Nothing suspicious identified.

East/Animal Aggression – 10:10am: Officers observed an off-leash dog charge and attack another dog that was being walked by their owner. Officers deployed OC spray at the aggressive dog, who retreated back to a house. No injuries sustained to the other dog. Attempts being made to make contact with the owner of the aggressive dog.  Investigation continuing.

Midtown/Domestic Disturbance – 1:26pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 47-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed, resisting, discharge of bodily fluids at a public safety worker and a probation/parole hold.

Central/Disturbance – 1:51pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 15-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting.

Midtown/Fight Call – 2:52pm: Officers responded to Hamilton Middle School for a fight involving 20+ students. Investigation continuing.

North/Sexual Assault – 4:23pm: Officers received a report of a sexual assault that occurred over the weekend. Investigation continuing.

East/Runaway Juvenile – 9:42pm: A 13-year-old female was reported as a runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The juvenile was listed as a runaway in the appropriate databases. *Juvenile located.

Midtown/Disturbance – 9:57pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 21-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for felony threats to law enforcement, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, and resisting.

North/Intoxicated Driver – 11:43pm: A 21-year-old male subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense), resisting, and open intoxicants in a vehicle.
