The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 72 hours (Friday morning to Monday morning).
Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
Number of calls
From 6:00am on October 10 to 6:00am on October 13, we received 1,133 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- Midtown: 192
- North: 167
- South: 91
- West: 152
- Other: 28
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Friday, October 10:
Priority calls only from 9:27am to 10:36am due to calls for service.
- 6:44am - North – Intoxicated Driver: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle "all over the road". The driver (34-year-old female) ran over a stop sign, crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic and pulled into a parking lot. The driver was contacted and failed field sobriety tests. The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (2nd offense).
- 8:17am - North – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 27-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
- 4:05pm - North – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a threats complaint involving a 34-year-old male subject. The subject was observed in the area. The subject attempted to flee on foot but he was apprehended. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, resisting, and a probation/parole hold. The subject was also issued a stalking letter.
- 5:05pm - South – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 26-year-old female subject at detox. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
- 11:32pm - East – Battery: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 24-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct.
Saturday, October 11:
Priority calls only from 10:35pm to 12:35am due to calls for service.
- 12:45am - Central – Sexual Assault: Caller reported being sexually assaulted. Investigation continuing.
- 4:44am - South – Adult Arrested Person: A wanted subject (57-year-old male) was observed by an officer. The subject was arrested for retail theft (2 counts) and misdemeanor bail jumping (2 counts).
- 5:29am - Central – Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 35-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, felony bail jumping and resisting.
- 6:55am - North – Check Area: An idling vehicle was called in as suspicious. Officers made contact with two subjects in the vehicle (53-year-old male and 33-year-old female). The male subject was acting strangely and he was removed from the vehicle to be detained. The subject actively resisted officers. Evidence of drug use observed in the vehicle. The subject was found to have outstanding warrants. The female subject also had an outstanding warrant. The male subject was arrested for the warrants, resisting, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- 2:46pm - Midtown – Adult Arrested Person: A 25-year-old female subject was arrested for violating a 72-hr no contact order.
- 5:22pm - East – Adult Arrested Person: A 22-year-old female subject was observed on a premises she is banned from. The subject was arrested on outstanding probable cause and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- 9:41pm - West – Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct while armed, criminal damage to property and discharge bodily fluids at a public safety worker.
- 9:48pm - Midtown – Battery: Officers responded to sounds of a disturbance. A victim was located with visible injuries. Subject conveyed to a local hospital. The subject was highly intoxicated and unable to provide a statement at this time. Investigation continuing.
- 10:33pm - Midtown – Check Area: Caller reported that a subject flashed a handgun towards them. The caller reported an argument took place between two different groups of friends/subjects. One subject lifted their shirt during the argument and showed a handgun in their waistband. Investigation continuing.
Sunday, October 12:
Priority calls only from 8:29am to 3:13pm due to calls for service.
- 12:27am - Central – Adult Arrested Person: Officers observed a 17-year-old male subject with probable cause for their arrest. The subject was taken into custody. The subject was carrying a bag that contained a gun, marijuana and a scale. The subject was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, felony bail jumping and possession with intent to deliver THC.
- 4:44am - West – Crash: Officers responded to a single vehicle rollover crash. The sole occupant (46-year-old male) was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased on scene. No other involved vehicles. No witnesses. Investigation continuing.
- 5:26am - East – Check Person: Officers received a request to have an emergency detention evaluation completed on a subject. The subject was contacted, taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital. Emergency detention sought/approved. Transport to Winnebago pending.
- 5:26am - West – Intoxicated Driver: A 21-year-old male subject was located passed out in the driver's seat of an idling vehicle with open alcohol next to him. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense).
- 7:23am - North – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle with two occupants "high" inside of it. A 35-year-old female subject was located pulseless/non-breathing in the passenger seat. Lifesaving measures were attempted but not successful. A male subject in the driver's seat was unresponsive but breathing. He was transported to a local hospital. Evidence of drug use observed in the vehicle. 3 additional subjects were contacted. Drugs found to be associated with those subjects as well. A 25-year-old female subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 2 other subjects released.
- 11:33am - East – Mental Health Conveyance: A subject, observed running into traffic and at people screaming, was transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. Emergency detention sought/approved. Placement pending.
- 6:22pm - West – Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 15-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
- 8:12pm - East – Intoxicated Driver: Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash with the driver/vehicle attempting to leave the area. Contact made with the 55-year-old male driver who showed signs of intoxication. The subject turned hostile and belligerent towards officers. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense).
Monday, October 13:
- 12:30am - Central – Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance. No answer at the residence. Officers make entry to check status of any subjects. A 34-year-old female subject was contacted and she denied anyone else being home. A 35-year-old male subject was located hiding under a bed. Both subjects arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation/parole holds. The female subject was also charged with bail jumping.
- 12:43am - East – Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 65-year-old male subject armed with a knife. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed (2 counts).
- 12:57am - North – Runaway Juvenile: A 15-year-old male subject was reported as a runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The subject was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.
- 1:13am - East – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 27-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic intimidation of a victim, battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
- 4:09am - South – Runaway Juvenile: A 13-year-old female subject was reported as a runaway. The juvenile ordered a ride to Milwaukee from her mom's phone. Attempt to locate aired. TTY sent to Milwaukee PD. The subject was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.
